Biografija

Elektrotehnički fakultet, Univerziteta u Beogradu je završila 2008. godine, po petogodišnjem programu na odseku Elektronika, Telekomunikacije, Automatika (ETA), smer Telekomunikacije odbranivši diplomski rad kod prof. dr Antonija Đorđevića u oblasti antena za bežične lokalne mreže.

Doktorske studije na Elektrotehničkom fakultetu, Univerziteta u Beogradu, studijski modul Telekomunikacije je završila 2015. godine odbranivši doktorsku disertaciju u oblasti prenosa u komunikacionim sistemima, videa i kompleksnih sistema pod nazivom "Fraktalna i multifraktalna karakterizacija 3D video formata" kod prof. dr Irini Reljin.

U Visokoj školi elektrotehnike i računarstva strukovnih studija u Beogradu je počela da radi 2008. godine kao spoljni saradnik, dok je od 2009. primljena u radni odnos sa punim radnim vremenom u zvanju asistenta u užoj stručnoj oblasti Elektronika i telekomunikcije. U zvanje predavača u užoj stručnoj oblasti Elektronika i telekomunikcije izabrana je 2016. godine, a u zvanje višeg predavača 2021. godine.

Pored poslova predavača, u novembru 2018. godine imenovana je i za Koordinatora za međunarodnu saradnju VIŠER-a. Uspešno je vodila postupak dobijanja akreditacije ustanove ispred Evropske komisije, koji se označava sa povelja za visoko obrazovanje ustanove. Ova povelja je kasnije na osnovu VIŠER-a, preneta i na nivo Akademije. Takođe, ova povelja je dalje predstavljala osnov za dobijanje projekata mobilnosti i mogućnosti konkurisanja za druge vrste međunarodnih projekata pri Erazmusu.

Rukovodilac je studijskog programa Elektronika i telekomunikacije od 2021. godine. Uspešno je vodila postupak akreditacije studijskog programa koji je važeći za period 2024.-2031. godine.


Između ostalih, učestvovala je na projektima:

  • ICT COST Action IC1401, Memristors - Devices, Models, Circuits, Systems and Applications (MemoCiS), 2014−2018;
  • Erasmus+ projekat 561688-ERR-1-2015-1-H:K-ERRKA2-SVNE-JR, akronim DBBT-MS,  Implementation of the study program − Digital Broadcasting and Broadband Technologies (Master studies), 2015−2018;
  • Erasmus+ projekat 561868-ERR-1-2015-1-EE-ERRKA2-SVNE-SR, akronim PT&SCHE Introduction of part−time and short cycle studies in Serbia, 2015−2018. (Rukovodilac projekta za VIŠER.)

U okviru projekta MemoCiS uspešno je realizovala dva naučna boravka (STSM, Short Term Scientific Mission)

  • Characterising memristors remotely: Towards an internet service for memristor-based application development, Amela Zekovic, Dr Themis Prodromakis Nano Group, Nanofabrication Centre, Electronics and Computer Science, Faculty of Physical Sciences and Engineering, University of Southampton, Southampton, United Kingdom, November 2016;
  • Implementation of reliable numerical integration methods for stochastic memristor models in Python, Amela Zekovic, Dr Ronald Tetzlaff group, Institute of Circuits and Systems, Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, TU Dresden, Dresden, Germany, March 2017.

Objavila je više radova nacionalnog i međunarodnog značaja, kako u časopisima tako i na konferencijama. Bila je recezent za časopis na SCI listi. Stekla je i nastavne reference u vidu koautorstva na priručnicima za laboratorijske vežbe i publikovanih radova. Nagradu za mladog istraživača dobila je na 57. konferenciji ETRAN, dok je rad sa konferencije Telecommunication Forum (TELFOR 2013) uvršten u 10% najboljih radova i pozvan da u proširenoj i dopunjenoj verziji konkuriše za TELFOR Journal, gde je rad i prihvaćen. Koautor je rada koji je na konferenciji IcETRAN 2015 proglašen za najbolji rad u sekciji Električna kola i signali. Objavila je i dva rada po pozivu.
