Requirements: Knowledge of the basic concepts of internet technologies and programming.
Goal: Mastering practical tools and technologies in designing web applications.
Outcome: Students are trained to independently design web applications using modern tools and technologies.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Introduction. Overview of development environments.
  2. Settings for web application development.
  3. Stylization preprocessors.
  4. SCSS syntax and practical application.
  5. Libraries based on the JavaScript language.
  6. The jQuery library.
  7. Practical application of the jQuery library.
  8. Frameworks for developing responsive websites.
  9. Getting to know the Bootstrap framework.
  10. Content management systems.
  11. Practical application of a content management system - WordPress.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Getting to know the principles of good design.
  2. Getting to know tools for creating user interfaces.
  3. Practical using library code.
  4. Content management systems - realization.
  5. Information visualization: dynamic queries, filters, display controls.
